Breathwork: The healing power of breathing.

In breathwork, you become aware of your own breath and breathe consciously. The breath can serve as a doorway to new, deep abilities. You can consciously prepare yourself for something, recover and go through difficult moments more easily.
When working with the breath, the person breathing determines where the journey takes them.

Instead of lying on a couch, we work on the floor on a yoga mat with blankets and cushions, accompanied by music, my voice and my process-supporting touch (craniosacral therapy).

This can either be in an individual session or you can choose to be carried and/or triggered by a group to get new processes rolling. We can then deepen these as required with individual sessions, in which you will be accompanied not only by my voice and my touch but also by music that I have put together especially for you.

What breathwork does for the body

According to Dan Brulé, the pioneer of breathing therapy, 70% of the toxins in our body are eliminated through the lungs. I understand this to also mean waste products, toxins in the lymph, connective tissue, etc., and therefore working with the breath can be seen as a rejuvenating, detoxifying and revitalizing treatment.
Brülé says that breath work increases endurance and success (top athletes work with different breathing techniques). and increase your life expectancy, reduce stress, improve your health and therefore change your whole life.
No wonder: when we feel stressed, we breathe superficially or even hold our breath. In doing so, we hold back everything that should actually flow through and from us. This happens on a physical, mental and emotional-spiritual level. Something freezes within us.
Through conscious breathing, we enter a conscious relationship with ourselves, which improves our ability to relate to the outside world. Because this depends on how deeply we feel connected to ourselves.
Working with the breath can be deeply moving, exhilarating and inspiring. The work can open to higher states and thus provide access to our unique knowledge and spirituality. Even in ancient civilizations and traditions, the greatest masters, yogis and mystics have worked with the breath.

I am not currently offering any group sessions of my own, as it is not yet entirely clear to me in which direction this work will develop for me. I am a pioneer myself with my own breathwork and am currently in a closed 4-year experience group with Silvester Walch.

At the same time, I am currently getting to know another enriching form of breathwork with sieber and bächler.

I can highly recommend both organisations for group settings. Where my own journey of experience with breathwork will take me in terms of group settings is again completely open to me.
